File Storage & Security

Automatic File Deletion — All uploaded and converted files are automatically erased within 24 hours of processing. Download converted files promptly; once removed, they cannot be restored.

Automatic purge: uploads and converted files expire within 24 hours
Transport security: TLS 1.2+ encryption for every upload and download
Access controls: least-privilege access and audit logging on conversion nodes
Isolated storage: temporary files encrypted at rest in dedicated buckets
Continuous monitoring: automated alerts for anomalies or unauthorized access

Cookies & Tracking

Convertaverse uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and maintain session security. We may also leverage short-lived analytics cookies or similar storage solely to understand feature performance and detect outages. These analytics are aggregated and never inspect your files.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser. Blocking required cookies may disrupt account access or credit purchases.

Sharing & Disclosure

Trusted Service Providers — We rely on vetted partners such as Stripe for payments and infrastructure vendors for hosting. They only receive the minimum data needed to perform their services and are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.

Legal & Safety Requirements — We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is required to comply with laws, respond to valid legal requests, defend our rights, or protect users from fraud, abuse, or harmful activity.

Data Retention & Your Rights

Access & Updates — Review or update your profile details directly inside your Convertaverse account or by contacting support.

Data Portability & Deletion — Request a copy of your personal information or ask us to delete your account data at any time. Deletion requests include removal of residual backups once legally permissible.

Processing Objections — Object to certain processing activities by adjusting preferences or emailing us with your request.

Children's Privacy — Convertaverse is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors and will delete any such information if we discover it.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. When retention is no longer required, information is securely deleted or anonymized.

Policy Updates

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top and, when appropriate, send an email or in-app notification. Continued use of Convertaverse after a revision becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
